Blog #5 Thinking about the Semester Ahead with Your Topic

I feel like my topic has several angels that I can write about, but I am leaning toward talking about how social media affects police officers job. Many people post videos of police brutality, and make the person getting arrested the victim. I am curious to look at evidence on the police officers point of view. I think social media characterized all police officers as the "bad guy," but police officers have a hard job to accomplish. I do admit that finding information siding with police officers could be difficult. I plan on focusing on  how police officers are trained to handle violent situations. Focusing more on the police officers train hopefully will help the public see how hard a police officer's job can be.
