Today I would like to share one of my adventures with you all. It’s the adventure of college! My adventure started on August 18, 2014. That’s the day I moved into my dorm at UNC. I felt many emotions that day. I was scared, nervous, and excited all at once. I felt scared to leave my family, and live in a new environment. I didn’t know what to expect, or how I was going to deal with this big change. That’s what made me so nervous. Then I looked at the positive side, which was I was finally an “adult.” I had the chance to make my own decisions, live on my own, and explore new things. All of those thoughts made my fear, and nerves disappear. As I walked up to Harrison I saw cheerful students as well as staff that reassured my feelings of excitement. Little did I know they were CHE staff who were there to help fellow CHE students move into the dorms. There were three girls helping me care my things up to my room. I don’t remember their names, but their faces I will never forget. As I started to throw my bed sheet on the bed a sense of happiness came over me, because I know this would be one of the best chapters in my life.
